Dolce & Gabbana launches the first cosmetics collection. The inspiration is the modern Marilyn and the essence of the Dolce&Gabbana woman, glamorous and sensual, always with a confident and provocative edge. Scarlett became their muse!

Chanel Spring-Summer 2009 Must-Haves
March 26, 2009
Continuing with make-up new products, let’s talk about Chanel Spring-Summer must-haves to look even more pretty!
For this make-up collection, creative make-up director Peter Philips was inspired by the Bohemian style and turned to the 1939 Gypsy couture Coco Chanel collection.

The model is Malgosia Bela from Poland with very beautiful face features, I think.
Soft champagne shades meld with mysterious plum tones. Eyes enchant and nails embellish in stylised colours. Red, the indispensable shade of the Bohemian, comes in its lightest and most intense form for lips shimmering with absolute sensuality.
So, let’s have a closer look at this:

This time I decided to start a new section about make-up. As you know every season famous labels launch not only clothing, but hit a make-up trends. Usually, there are several new seasonal must-haves to express your beauty! Creative director invites a model to show the make-up trends. Then in early spring they launch a campaign, and you and me go shopping to make ourselves happy :)
This post is about Givenchy spring make-up collection. Creative director Nicolas Degennes was inspired by India flavour.

“I have been, sometimes without realizing it, inspired by historical, traditional India. A mysterious, magical, disquieting India. The India of symbols and thousands of gods, where even cows and elephants are made up and ‘bejewelled’. The India of fairy tales, of Maharajas and especially Maharanis, wrapped up in their silk saris and covered in precious jewels.” — Nicolas said.
He continued — “Based on truly tangible values: earth, water and light. Naturally, once you get over the dazzle, you always come back to the heart and soul.”
