Gladiator ankle sandals are spring’s must-have footwear style and in a chic anthracite tone this leather pair from Belle by Sigerson Morrison will add an urban edge to even the simplest cotton day dress. These are available at Net-a-Porter for $265, too much for them I think. Chanel jelly thong sandals were hits of previous seasons and sold out immediately. The price was about $350! Too much for jelly flip flop, isn’t it? You can find blue at Bluefly for $220 (was $275), pink at eBay for $419.95. At the Spring-Summer Resort 2009 show Mr. Lagerfeld offered black and white camellia flower version with price about $350. Let’s have a look at them all:

Retrospective to Balenciaga Fall 2006: Inspired by Mary-Kate

March 31, 2009

Mary-Kate Olsen has unique and very specific fashion style. Somebody love it, others hate. Well, it’s ok. I personally adore her over-sized dresses and tees, her trenches and especially her shoes. Can’t wait her own shoe collection. Of course, not only me love her looks, one of my gentle readers asked me to find similar to Mary-Kate boots.

Let’s look at these boots on Mary-Kate:

Careful reader and fan of Mary-Kate notices, that she’s wearing the boots for a while. I mean they are not from last collection. And that’s good, I mean she is a sort of devoted person who wears the piece many times, despite several seasons passed.

I’m sure you also like them :) Wanna have similar but for less money?

Kate Moss for Topshop: New Collection

March 31, 2009

Great news again!
After nine seasons working together Kate Moss and Topshop have hit upon a winning fashion recipe. Take a large dollop of skinny jeans and flirty dresses, add some leather and suede for rock-chic bite, sprinkle on some Gallic striped knitwear and bake in the summer sun. This season though, the recipe has a few extra ingredients.

Kate Moss for Topshop

“I love wearing prints, particularly in summer and they’ve proved a real hit in my past collections,” Moss explained. “Whilst researching the spring range we looked at loads of old prints and most of my favourites originated from the Liberty archive.“
“Collaborating with the print studio was an amazing experience,” Moss revealed. “The team are so knowledgeable and were very open to my ideas. The capsule range features original colour combinations exclusive to my spring collection.“
The spring/summer 2009 offering will also feature Moss’ first underwear outing with bras and pants in black lace and cotton florals.

Let’s have a look at this:

March 30, 2009

Dolce & Gabbana launches the first cosmetics collection. The inspiration is the modern Marilyn and the essence of the Dolce&Gabbana woman, glamorous and sensual, always with a confident and provocative edge. Scarlett became their muse!

Scarlett Johansson for Dolce & Gabbana collection

They tell: “She symbolizes the essence of the modern chameleon, the perfection of a natural beauty as well as the provocative woman, the desire to express the range of her personality from seductress to innocent, all of which is at the heart of the collection”.

Let’s have a look at what they offer to us:
